Body of victim retrieved
SECUNDA - The body of the 28-year-old Xolani Nthembu was successfully retrieved by police divers of the search and rescue team of the South African Police Service on 25 October. According to information received, the victim was involved in a fight at a nearby tavern in Embahlenhle Ext 18 by a known suspect.
Members of the K9-unit went in search of the suspect, and he was arrested soon afterwards. After divers retrieved the body, they discovered that the victim had an open wound and a bruise on his head. A murder case will be opened and investigated.
